The World Service Office encourages members and groups to support their local LDC, rather than purchasing literature directly from the headquarters located in Virginia.

ORDER PAYMENT METHODS

The LDC accepts cash, checks, money orders, PayPaland credit cards.
NOTE: There is a 3% processing fee for credit card and PayPal payments.
Please do not mail cash to the LDC.
The LDC must receive full payment before sending an order.

If ordered items are in low supply the LDC will create a Backorder and send you what we can. Then once received at the LDC, the items due you will be sent with no additional shipping fees.

Included in your order will be a Paid Invoice for your records. If paid by credit card, a Payment Receipt will also be sent to you for your records.

Literature chairs for your groups and literature volunteers for events are important
service opportunities so please consider joining when the occasions arise.

DIRECTIONS – PARKING – ACCESSING THE LDC

The LCD is located at South Congregational Church, 277 Main St., Hartford. The parking lot entrance is behind the church building on John Street. Parking for the LDC is located on the right (south) side of the church building.

The outside entrance to the LDC is a double-door between 2 pillars. There is a small sign and a buzzer that says CT Al-Anon Literature Distribution Center. Ring the buzzer. Be sure to pull the LEFT door when you hear the opening click. Take the stairs to the top floor. The LDC office is the first door on the left when you enter the hallway.

NOTE: Handicapped parking is available. For those who need an elevator to visit the LDC, you can use the church entrance which is located at the back of the church building between 2 pillars. Ring the church buzzer and let them know you are visiting the LDC. After entering the lobby, the elevator is directly in front of you. Take the elevator to the 2ND floor. On the 2ND floor walk across the open lobby and take a right, down the hall. The hall will take a slight right bend. Continue to follow the hall to the end and just before the stairwell, the LDC office is on your right.
